Whilst  it is fresh in everybody’s minds, let me try to turn your heads towards to the 20s Plenty Campaign AGAIN. The fact that a football club can change the Category of a game just because they know they are going to get a decent home crowd is quite frankly wrong.

Not only have Leeds United’s home fans suffered because of this decision (I will stop short of calling it Greed), but the knock on effect nearly stopped a lot of away fans attending the game.

The Football Supporters Federation have campaigned for many years to get a reciprocal agreement between the entire Football League (and to start negotiations in the Premier league) for many years now.

fsfThe plain fact is that it needs the backing of EVERY football fan in the country for it to work. It needs fans to give up a bit of time when the petition is delivered by hand to FA Headquarters. It needs fans to get behind the Supporters Associations that fight for issues like this.

Sitting there hoping someone else will carry the fight will just play into the hands of the football clubs that see us as customers that they will milk for every penny they can.

Visit the FSF website and sign the petition, get involved in the rallies and make sure you can say that you didn’t just moan, you did something about it. This goes for all football fans, not just the ones Supporting Wigan Athletic

The FSF have already got Clubs in the Premier League and Football League talking to each other and this has led to reciprocal agreements on Away Ticket Prices…. lets make it the norm not the exception.
