Qualification for the last 32 of the Europa League is not in Wigan Athletic’s hands anymore, but the fans that are making the trip to Slovenia for the game against Maribor could be a huge factor in us getting the result we need to give us a chance.
Latics now have to win the game in Maribor and hope that Kazan beat Zulte Waregem and for those fans that over in Slovenia, the lads will really need your voices.
We will keep giving reminders about the Bar/Restaurant we have blocked off for Latics fans over the next 12 days or so and it is not too late to get there either. There are still loads of tickets available and several ways to get over there.
The Supporters Club isn’t officially running anything, but The Travel Puzzle has arranged travel, hotels and transfers for over 250 of our fans for this game.
They are an English company that specialise in trips to Slovenia and still have a few places on their coach trip for anybody who doesn’t want to fly or needs a cheap way to get there (click here).
