Next week Wigan Athletic take on Chesterfield at the DW Stadium, but just a couple of hours later and less than a mile away from the ground will be a packed out Honeysuckle Inn for the Annual Race Night in aid of Prostate Cancer UK.

Last year Peter Mulqueeney and John Heeley represented the Club on the cycle to Amsterdam, a 180 mile trek over 2 days.

The Latics fans raised a large chunk of money last year with the various sponsorships and evens that they put on, and they are asking fr your support again this year.

This time there are several bike riders making the journey in June, but the first big event if next week on Saturday the 16th January at the Honeysuckle Inn, where the very entertaining Race Night is held.

It would be great to see as many people down the on the night, but you can be involved by not even being there, why not be a jockey or even a Race Horse owner.racenight-honeysuckle

Full details are on their website, where you can find out more about this and the other events, plus you can buy your horses or become a jockey – the prizes for the winners are spectacular.
