Due to the spectacular response from Wigan Athletic fans, it has been necessary to order a further 2,000 for Latics first ever game in European Football.
Wigan Athletic supporters snapped up the initial allocation of 1,500 tickets for Latics’ first ever game in European competition in less than two hours on Saturday – but the club have now secured 2,000 further tickets.
Since the initial allocation was sold, the DW Stadium Ticket Office has been taking reservations on a FIRST COME FIRST-SERVED basis for the match against last season’s Belgian Proleague runners-up, Zulte Waregem, to be played at Club Brugge’s Jan Breydelstadion on Thursday September 19.
This system will now continue, with the club taking payment details, names and addresses of supporters, either in person at the DW Stadium Ticket Office, or to telephone callers. The tickets will then be sent out in the post.
Tickets are currently on sale to season-ticket holders only. Should any tickets remain, they will go on general sale from 9.00am on Thursday September 12th.
Tickets are restricted to one per season ticket holder, and two per person if they go on general sale.
