15 years ago we were struggling to get the town folk of Wigan watching Wigan Athletic, but times have changed as Latics appeal is seen the World over.
The Official Supporters Club has many overseas fans as registered members, these fans want to feel a part of our great club even though they may not get to see many live games throughout a season.
We do try to do a few special things for these who live abroad and here is the response from just one of them.
Hi, having just returned from a fantastic trip to Bruges I was delighted to have received my membership card and loads of other great surprises . I am very great full for all the extra stuff . Thank you all at Wigan supporters club very much. Maybe we could talk soon about setting up a Ireland branch of the Supporters Club.
