Jonathan Jackson, Chief Executive, said: “This is great news for our fans  and I want to place on record our thanks to NK Maribor and the Slovenian police  for being receptive to the idea of increasing the allocation for Wigan Athletic.  We have been working hard behind the scenes to secure tickets for the game and  hopefully this will help to satisfy the big demand.
“Our supporters have been incredible in the way they have backed us for the  Europa League and it is fitting we have been able to reward them with these  tickets. The team will now be roared on by another large following on what will  be an historic night for the club.’
