Flags ready to go home
The Stadium has invited those supporters who allowed their flags to be displayed during home games during the 2020/21 season to come down to the stadium to collect them.
With fans not allowed to attend games throughout last season, a number of supporters gave their Wigan Athletic flags to the club to be showcased on home match days as an alternative way to show their support to the first team through a challenging season.
With the Club now safe in Sky Bet League One for next season, we ask supporters that they come and collect their flags from the DW Stadium next week.
There will be four allocated slots next week (W/C 7th June) for fans to come and collect their flags from Monday-Thursday. There are two slots during the day, as well as two in the evening.
Supporters do not need to book a time to collect, they can just turn up during one of the time slots that suits them. Upon arrival at the DW, fans are asked to head to the West Stand, where they will be directed by a member of staff on the door next to the Main Reception to collect their flag.
The complete process will be co-ordinated around COVID-19 procedures and stadium guidelines, and will be a safe environment for all supporters.
The times to collect your flags are as follows:
Monday 7th June: 1pm – 2pm
Tuesday 8th June: 5pm – 6pm
Wednesday 9th June: 1pm -2pm
Thursday 10th June: 5pm – 6pm
Thank you for your support throughout this season, and we look forward to seeing you next week.
If you have any problems collecting your flag during these times, please contact Jason Taylor at jason@wiganathleticslo.co.uk.
