For the army of Wigan Athletic fans that are travelling down to their first ever FA Cup Semi Final at Wembley on 13th April, Wigan Athletic Supporters Club have been working behind the scenes with one of the town’s biggest companies to make the day a bit easier for fans choosing to travel with us.
The Tesco Extra store in Wigan has teamed up with Wigan Athletic Supporters Club to give fans* travelling to Wembley for the FA Cup semi- final a special treat.
Working alongside local suppliers/producers, the Tesco store will be handing out 1,000 `Wigan Survival Kits’ to help ease the long journey down south….
The first 1,000 fans to board our coaches on the morning of the game will receive a bag containing:
• A packet of Uncle Joes Mint Balls
• A packet of Lancashire Crisps – Sea Salt and Ellsey’s Vinegar Flavour
• A carton of Vimto
• A Pie
Look out for the Tesco.com van when it arrives at the coach departure point from around 9.15am on Saturday 13th April…….”
