Our game against Tranmere Rover in the EFL Trophy has been moved to Wednesday 11th November 2020 with a 6.30pm kick off. This due to Wigan Athletics FA Cup game being played on Sunday, so just a 24 hour shift.

It is FA Cup Weekend and although it would be great to have seen Wigan Athletic’s Emirates FA Cup First Round clash with Chorley live at the DW Stadium, we obviously can’t.

COVID has stopped us doing a lot of things, watching our team live at the stadium, travelling to away games and even having our name printed on our replica shirt.

The Wigan Athletic Academy is still producing great talent and it could well see us thrive in the future. We were upset to see the likes of Joe Geldhart leave the club, but we could see more of latest crop make it to the first team very soon.

Former Wigan Athletic winger Callum McManaman has moved down under and joined Australian side Melbourne Victory.
The 29-year-old played 133 times for Latics across two spells, scoring 18 goals in the process.
