I had a telephone meeting with Administrator Gerald Krasnor on Tuesday evening where there was an opportunity to put forward questions raised by supporters over recent events at the club. The call lasted 33 minutes.

Thanks to all those who donated, we raised nearly £3,000 just on this item alone and it has helped us break through the £600,000 barrier.

The total just keeps going, £600,000 is simply just amazing and with so many things being raffled and auctioned we are well on our way to get to £750k and beyond.

Thanks to your inspiring response, we believe that we could push our campaign even further. With every extra pound raised our voice can only get stronger. For that reason our campaign will continue with the hopeful aim of reaching £750,000 by Friday 4th September. If our second target can be reached, then who knows how far we could go!
Statement from Supporters Club 30th August 2020
With these goals in mind, on Wednesday 26th August, the WE ARE WIGAN, SAVE OUR CLUB crowdfunder was launched. Our ambitious first target was to raise AT LEAST £500,000 by the 31st August. Now, within just four days, we are already on the sprint finish towards that target – and the passion of our supporters is showing no signs of slowing.
